Welcome to the Symbols page of Matthew Brian Norquist

This site holds a few interesting things, if you're in to heraldry and/or vexillology. 

To see three of the symbols I have created to represent myself, please click on the menu items above. These symbols have been fluid for many, many years. It has been difficult for me to "lock" them in as final representations (except for the Embis-- that hasn't changed since I first designed it as a child), perhaps because I don't like to be pinned down to a specific all-encompassing symbol that typifies me. However, after living with these symbols for quite awhile, I've finally decided to let go and allow these things to be mine.

That said, I do reserve the right to revise.  :)
